A letter from our Lead Pastor…

Welcome! It is my pleasure to share with you the excitement of this growing congregation! My wife and I would like to thank you for taking the time to explore what God is doing at First Assembly. Please take the time to browse through our site and capture the vision:

First Assembly is a vibrant, growing, multicultural congregation with over 30 nationalities represented within. I believe we offer many opportunities for ministry and we can meet the needs of every generation. New specialized ministries are being added as God sends gifted and passionate individuals. Our ministries are available to everyone regardless of membership status and we warmly welcome you to participate in them.

Please take a moment and notice the “Real Life Commitment” class. If you have ever asked the questions “Where do I fit?” or “What can I do for God?” then you’ll want to sign up and be apart of these classes. We will explore the purpose for the church and help you discover your unique gifts and how they can be utilized in God’s kingdom. These classes are required for membership and recommended to current members as well. We are presently offering this opportunity on a rotational basis. You may sign up for these classes by contacting on of the secretaries in our main office or via this website.

You may also be interested in our “New Friends Luncheon.” This free luncheon provides an opportunity for the Pastoral Staff and other church leadership to sit down and get to know those who are new to our congregation. This is a wonderful opportunity for our newest family members to ask questions and find out more about First Assembly. We often highlight various ministries and provide you with up-to-date information on upcoming events. We host these luncheons on a quarterly basis. We will send out a personal invitation to those who fill out visitor’s cards. You may also inquire about this event by contacting our church office.

We consider ourselves a church that is becoming—not what it once was but, not yet what it will be. I often hear visitors remark about our congregation being so warm, inviting and friendly. We invite you to come and experience this warm, energetic, and friendly atmosphere for yourself! We are the body of Christ and we believe it is most enjoyable when we serve together!
