Rev. Blane Young
Executive Director of DC Chi Alpha
Provides leadership, teaching and vision to both Chi Alpha at American University and Chi Alpha at Georgetown University.
Blane has served on staff at with DC Chi Alpha for over a decade and became the Director at American University in the Fall of 2014. He’s also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
This New Mexico native is a graduate of the University of Alabama but has fallen in love with the big city. He and his wife, Hannah, moved to DC to complete the DC Chi Alpha CMIT Program in the Fall of 2011. They are parents to a wonderful kiddo: Jeremiah Joel Young.
You’ll find him around DC in search of good coffee by day and hanging out with his cat, Whiskers, at night.
