Sunday, May 7, 2017 was filled with so many blessings. We were honored to have Mayor Allison Silberberg of the City of Alexandria join us in celebrating; sharing such heartfelt remarks and beautifully reading the proclamation of our 100th Anniversary. Mayor Silberberg was followed by Dr. George O. Wood, the General Superintendent of the General Council of the Assemblies of God, who presented Pastor Wes with a 100th Anniversary plaque from the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Dr. Wood then delivered a phenomenal message from the scriptures of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians 3:14-21, “An Apostle’s Prayer” – A prayer for First Assembly on our 100th Anniversary.
